flu

sorry for the lack of updates this week (an apology in advace, too!)... and this really isn't going to be much of an update either...

lee came down with the flu sunday--he left work because he felt so bad and literally slept for sixteen hours... before waking up to wait in the urgent care office for another 3 hours to be told "you have the flu" and came home to get back in bed (he told me tonite, he's slept over 30 hours of the last 48!)

i picked up his prescription for tamiflu along with clorox wipes, lysol spray, gatorade, sprite, ginger ale, chicken noodle soup and pedialyte (for eden, duh!)...

i was praying BEGGING the good Lord that he would spare eden and i... i sanitized and wiped down e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g.... quarantined lee to the upstairs so i could take care of eden downstairs

...eden ended up with a fever and had a pretty rough night but after motrin and a cool bath, she seems to be fine today (even without motrin)... i'm chalking it up to the fact that she wasn't in her crib and the fever was due to teething (where are those pearly whites?!?!). i was able to get some sleep when mom got here today and go in to work a bit late...

...i still wouldn't OFFICIALLY say that we're in the clear yet... but things are certainly looking up... lee's fever broke and he ate a really good dinner with us tonite. i'm still feeling well and hoping for the best!

i've encouraged him to take it easy and not over-do it...
