eden's weekend

eden had her first weekend away...

kiekie & pop offered to keep her this weekend

while nana was at a wedding

(that lee and i missed because of work!)...

and according to the pictures it looks like it was lots of fun!!

she spent plenty of time being her sweet, smiley, drooly self...

lots of playtime and lots of giggles...

with some applesauce & oatmeal, too!!

oh, and more smiles and dimples.

and an eden classic--a bath!

she spent the night...

and woke up the next morning to enjoy some of mama's old toys...

...and sesame street...

and more playtime...

then she worked on her perfect posture for a bit.

and chit-chatted with kiekie...(while pop was at the duke/alabama "game"*)

*i use quotes because, well, it wasn't much of a game. roll tide.

then kiekie and eden ventured out with the bob...

visited daddy's nature park. sorta.

and then met mama halfway home at smithfields!

what a fun weekend... eden slept most of the way home!

i couldn't WAIT to get my paws on her!!!! even though its not our first time "apart", it was my first time being HOME without her. strange.

oh, you wanna know what lee and i did while eden was gone?

i had a little bit of free time friday--so i spent it paying bills, looking for stuff for eden, researching umbrella strollers, putting away stuff she's outgrown, pulling down more of her fall clothes...

THEN. lee and i went on a date night with tim (a friend & co-worker) & his wife, caryn...we enjoyed good conversation about... our kids. and lots of other things...then we went to ed mckay books and i got eden lots of childrens books...

we missed her terribly, but know she had a great time!
