today was fantastic... after 11 hours of sleep only interrupted by a quick dose of cough syrup at 3:30 (was back asleep within 15 minutes or so)... i had a LOOOONG productive day of "catch-up" at work... without feeling like my legs were going to buckle underneath me or that i would drop mid-sentence to fall asleep!... basically, i felt like ME today!
granny fixed me some lasagna (wayyy good...i could TASTE IT!) and navy beans (i know, weird combo... but i wanted the leftover navy beans!)... i voted (school board elections)... came home to do laundry, dishes, a bit of cleaning up & thinking of vaccuuming later (during biggest loser commercial breaks)
congestion is disappearing... and my ears are itching (that's a good thing...)
the light at the end of this tunnel is so bright you'll see blue dots if you look at it directly for too long...
i really would like to thank ALL of you for your calls, cards, facebook notes, emails, blog comments, asking family when you saw them in the grocery store, etc... you are all too sweet & those kind acts didn't go un-noticed...ya know, it's funny the sort of world we live in when you ask some one in the grocery store, "how's hannah... i saw on facebook that she's been sick!" haha...
its AMAZING what modern medicine will do for ya when they can get the medicine & the dosage right...
the first antibiotic was 2x day @ 875 mgs... yep, that's 10,500 mgs of a medicine i took for 6 days last week and didn't feel a drop better... and didn't improve the ear infections...
the antibiotic they gave me yesterday (along with a prescription cough syrup) is 1x day @ 400 mgs and i JUST took my 2nd dose after dinner tonite... so that's 800 mgs ...wow...
looking forward to a relaxing night of biggest loser & ANOTHER good night of sleep!
i'm praying the rest of the week goes like today... i've still got a road to go... but i'm READY!
