i don't come from a family of "quilters" but i am falling in love with these homemade quilts that have been given to eden...
this one came from kelly... a former co-worker of lee's...
i just love the "ribbon" (i'm sure there's another name for it) between the squares...
i've started looking at them online... and now i seem to notice them everywhere i go!! i always knew they took a lot of time and have "loved them from afar", but i don't think i've ever had one of my own that was for someone in my family :)

Sweetheart, your great,great Mama Garner was a very ,very good quilter...she made many, many quilt's...she wanted me to carry on the quilting ..but I did not like quilting...it takes to long to make a quilt...the smaller quilt's doesn't take that long...the stuff around the squares is called rick-rack...just wanted you to know this...love to all..Granny T.
