weekly update

well, besides coming down with the crud uh-gain... i'm still doing/feeling great! eden is still a very active little girl & in the past couple of mornings, i've enjoyed watching my stomach moooove...

now, its not like a defined foot or anything, its just visible movement of my whole stomach when she's doing her morning workout :)

i've had a couple of rough nights with foot & leg cramps (boo, hiss!), at this point with the lack of bad symptoms i've had, its really hard to complain... and its been fun having strangers notice that i'm pregnant and ask me about the baby

and yes, lee FINALLY felt her move... last saturday night, eden was as active as she'd ever been (well, SO FARRRRRRRR! haha) and i just knew he'd be able to feel it!

and that's about all the update i have for today... but, i do have one more picture, just because i love taking these...
now, as far as eden's ROOOOOM is concerned, there's LOTS to update on there...

mom and i* went to lowe's last night to look at paint colors and we've DECIDED!

*i went to lowes a week or so ago, and picked out colors, but i'm TERRIBLE at matching stuff like that up... but i'm glad i went back... the lighter color i'd picked out was just a little too bright (it had the volume turned up!) and the darker "accent color" matched just ok, but i wasn't comfortable with it as a wall color... so, mom helped me find one that was in the family of the one we picked, but not TOOOO dark

in an effort to make eden's HUUUUGE room a bedroom SLASH playroom, we're planning on painting 3 of the 4 walls in "zen garden" by valspar... and having an accent wall in "emerald isle"

this darker accent wall will be the focal point of the "play side"... and on this wall, we'll have this...
(yeah, i know, the picture is hard to see...you mayyyy be able to click to enlarge and check out that cool looking white tree!!...i borrowed this picture from the website i ordered it from)...it'll be here in a week--give or take

and near the tree we'll have the cutest little white bench... granny made it! and its got some storage in the seat for toys, books, etc... i'm planning on that being white, too...

and mom and david got us the gliding chair & ottoman in chocolate brown... it should be here in 2 weeks or so...

and i ordered the hanging ribbon letters that'll most likely be here after the first of the year... its kinda like the ones seen HERE... but with magenta letters and a solid starchy white ribbon...

and i'm going to see if i can find some cute white cubbies sorta like these...

but instead of those natural colored baskets, i'm hoping to find a cute set of baskets that look something like this...

or maybe this...
...but i'm leaning more toward the first idea (the white painted basket with the liner)

and i'm on the hunt for a cute changing table or shorter chest of drawers that i could put the changing pad stuff on top of... most likely in the cherry wood (same as the crib*)

*the one lee still hasn't assembled yet :)

and that's about it for the hit list... i may have some more tricks up my sleeve, but that's the jist of it! and lemme tell ya,

I'M EXCITED!

i'm looking forward to taking pictures & seeing how everything comes together!

all this "fun stuff" is really helping the reality set in... eden IS coming... and after 22 weeks of feeling like i was dreaming or that i wasn't really pregnant, its FINALLY sinking in! :)
