did you miss me?

well... five days gone by with no blog post!! ...don't worry, i have good excuse!

my computer was overcome instantly with spyware... and after realizing exactly how much i could accomplish without my computer, i decided to let it be for a bit...

i cleaned out the pantry, the laundry room, organized closets, gave the upstairs office some "purpose" (more on that later), got a new video camera (yes, another one!--more on this later, too!), went to the grocery store... and COOKED! cleaned like a mad woman, celebrated christmas with lee's family, i've put away most of the christmas decorations, and WHOOOO KNOWWWS what else i did... lee wasn't sure if he even wanted me to get my computer back... i have been in high gear and get a kick out of NOT sitting down/resting until BED! whew! (2nd trimester energy boost activated!!!!)

OH!! and we have a new NEPHEW!! well, we did on december 20th, but we had to wait until baby had a name... earl graham made his big debut just in time for a very loud, fun first christmas with his 2 older sisters, mary kathryn & lucy... got my first batch of baby pictures in the mail yesterday--i'll share some with you when i can get my hands on that little guy! we love him already! :)

but, before i go any further, i'll share with you some pictures of most spectacular detail...

needless to say, lee got quite a kick outta these pictures... he's been enjoying all the attention the beard has gotten these days... from strangers and from people who just haven't seen him lately... (sigh)...

lee has come down with and gotten rid of a cold... we missed church sunday... which i REALLY hate... but saturday night, i gave him a magical concoction of drugs to nip his cold in the bud... and it worked! he had his first "dose" of tylenol pm and we all (nershi included) woke up when church was almost over! :-/ i asked lee did he feel better & did he get some rest... to which he responded "yes, i DO feel better... but i think i was in a coma!" ...thanks, tylenol pm! :) haha even though lee's the only one who got any "drugs" that night, i think we all were just. too. pooped. from the holidays.

here's a picture of lee with his blue blanket... this has come in rather handy since our heat is out upstairs! (no biggie, but it makes the living room a tad chilly... it'll be fixed tomorrow!)

so, in my "maybe its nesting even though its early and i don't have a computer" phase, i got my paws on the "man room"/office upstairs this week... i wish i'd taken before and after pictures... but oh well... i was able to get some furniture switched, throw away a lot a boatload of unnecessary junk i'm not sure why we were saving, and rearrange... giving the room some sense of purpose.... instead of it being an extra room with no real flow or feel... now, its a most fantastic sitting/tv room with a desk area... i'm not quite finished with it yet... i'm still lookin' around for some good finds on craigslist or a suh-weet deal in target or best buy... i'll keep you posted!

last night, we celebrated a late christmas with lee's family... his mom, dad, grandad, and aunt jackie! christmas was a little different this year since his parents were with steph & kevin and the new baby! so, we postponed our celebration with them... and we STILL have stuff for the girls & baby earl...hopefully we'll get that taken care of sometime in january!

in the midst of my cleaning frenzy... i was dusting the table that my newwww video camera was sitting on (mind you, where its been sitting for weeks--you know, we don't have a baby to film YET!)... decided i'd take a 2 minute break and watch the videos i'd recorded... and catch my breath and have swig of water... only to open my camera to see a SHATTERED SCREEN!! ...it knocked the wind outta me! ...i called lee at work to see if he'd dropped it by accident, thought i would be mad and let me figure it out on my own (which of course he did NOT do, but i must cover all bases!). the only thing i could come up with is that a pin or something holding the screen in was a little too tight--and it finally gave way (??)... i was panicked!! i KNEW it'd be covered under warranty... but would it be back before eden's ready to meet us? uugh! well, long story short... i opted to take it back to best buy and get them to replace it...

after a looong wait (to get the 97324 managers to approve it) and them checking to see if they even had one to replace it with-- they did!! :) woo hoo!!! new camera in hand... i decided to go ahead and pick up a nifty bag and tri-pod... and i'm keeping my fingers crossed that this doesn't EVER happen again... whatEVER it was!

and holy cow... i'm t.w.e.n.t.y. f.i.v.e weeks pregnant!?! oh my goodness... this baby's gonna be here before we know it! i can't wait for some of her nursery stuff to start rollin' in... shouldn't be much longer now! :) i'll have to post a picture later... i'm already in my sweat pants for tonite... ahhh!! eden is more active than she's EVER been... and miss priss is getting stronger by the day. she's especially active in the mornings and at night (or maybe that's just when i can SEE the movement i feel all day...)--the stomach comes to life... it wiggles and jumps all over the place... video soon--i promise! :)

and this silly boy...

has decided he loves to sit on our front porch... why? i dunno... but as long as mister pooch behaves, i don't mind if he sits out there (with the gate up, of course!)... now, don't get me wrong, he loves to run around the back yard, too... but who doesn't like a change of scenery every now and then!?

and THAT is an update on us in the last five days... we're all doing great! and staying busy! thanks for even reading this far... it was a long, random, hodge podge of a post... now, let me get off this computer and see what else i can clean/organize/rearrange/wash... ha! :)
