well, eden and i were together, of course! :-D duh!
lee had been planning a trip to washington dc to see umphrey's mcgee with daniel for quite some time!! he left friday morning... they were off to see 3 shows, including one that only had about 50 seats... he's not quit talking about it since i walked in the door!! (i think he had fun, don't you?)
then, i realized i'd have the opportunity to visit mom & david when i got off of work saturday and hang out with them until almost dinner time tonite... mom and i got in some good time doing the girl thing and shopping for eden... lots of creative ideas!! i can't wait to visit michael's or ac moore this week & get a few of these ideas a try! :) we had a delicious meal at home saturday... went to church on sunday... lunch at the oceanic... then a little bit more shopping... then i was homeward bound!
and since i was going down for a pretty quick trip... i thought it would be fun for nershi to stay with dad... that sweet dog LOVES staying at dad's!! running and frolicking in the woods and having some "guy time"
...and since there was NO ONE at home, i took granny pat up on her offer to have our carpet cleaned for my birthday present! ...he came saturday morning & it had all day yesterday and today to get nice and dry (unlike last time, when we were home from work later that afternoon on the day he came!--it was still a little damp)
and here we are... sunday night... all four of us snuggled up on the couch! both tired from a busy weekend... and refreshed from a little away time*....getting ready for a short & busy week this week... and CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS! (right, lee?)
*a very healthy & necessary part of ANY relationship. agreed?
