well, this week turned out to be a little busier than i'd expected...but it was fun! :)
wednesday i went to my first pampered chef party...and let me just say...i'm in LOVE!! i'm throwing shellie one in june as a bridal shower!! and i can't wait!!! i love having people over for little get togethers...
...side note...do you know what will be finished by then?? MY FENCE!!! yippeeeee!
last night lee's cousin michael & kimberlee came over...and when the four of us get together there's NOOOO TELLING what will be the topic of discussion...
with the announcement of a little one on the way for these two, it was mostly baby stuff...i whipped out one of my lasagnas and kimberlee made her famous salad...and we finished it off in style with kim's homemade frosted browniesssss with ice cream!....aaahhh!
and today, lee had the day off of work...and did the most fantastic job mowing the yard! and he planned date night tonight...ladies choice! we went to lowes and got stuff to water seal the deck and looked at the trimmers...
since we have bermuda grass (and its invading and eating out the other grass we have) we do more trimming in the summer than mowing...its got the little runners that grow across the sidewalk, etc...so i wanted to make sure we had a good trimmer...and lee assured me that we did! :)
so after we got back from our "date"...i blew off the driveway, and piddled in the yard for a bit...just admiring its beauty!
since spring is here, the grass is getting greener and the yard is looking better and better everyday!! everything is growing! :)
...and after we left lowes we went to the local mexican restaurant...yum!!
and tomorrow...i'm going out of town for the weekend...i'll post about THAT sunday night or monday! :)
