i've always been more of a french toast girl...if any thing for "breakfast for dinner" but i married the ever lovin' pancake lover! and i'm terrible at making french toast...tried twice and a MAJOR disaster both times...i'll just leave it to IHOP and Cheescake Factory (EXCELLENT french toast if you've never had their's)
this was a first for me makin' pancakes, and i must say i did pretty fair...the first 2 were a disaster...not in the sense of taste, but looks...the ugly ones...they're on a special plate for nershi to have later (and in small bites...i'm not in the mood to clean up anymore "upset tummy")
i'd like to think this dinner is a celebration! my wonderful husband shaved his beard! yes, for the first time in a long time...he's clean shaven! woo hoo! it had just started to get long enough to bother me if we smooched...really scratchy and wirey feeling...so after i got to work this morning, i had this picture in my email...
so yes, its a double named blog post...i might be changing my mind on pancakes...pretty yummy and easy to fix...and lee is now clean shaven...life is MARRRVELOUS!

You should try the french toast at Mimi's Cafe off Capital Blvd. That stuff is AMAZING!
