the week so far...

i figured i'd take a minute to catch you up on our week up to this point...

monday we went to the angus barn with todd & suzanne...todd and lee work together...and i got a very nice gift card there for my birthday. we had SUCH a great time together...i ate so much yummy food i wanted to wear sweatpants the next day! and i laughed so hard my face hurt...great combination!

tuesday at work, i had a new girl start helping me at the store...an answered prayer!! there's so much going on right now that i can't keep up with my work, so sarah has joined the team and will be helping me where i need her to! yippee! i'm really looking forward to having her around! such a sweet girl...and she's catching on quick...i threw lots of stuff at her yesterday--there's so much to teach her and she did great! and tuesday night was "back to normal"...no filet mignon, crab claws, ribs, or oysters! i cooked dinner and lee and i had a nice relaxing night at home!

tonight i had dinner with mom and david...last minute dinner plans always work out the best! we met at applebee's and had a few minutes to catch up!

i'm hoping the next week or so goes as well as this week so far! next week i'm off to the dentist for a check-up...and i know most people generally hate going to the dentist, but if you know me well, then you know this is one of the things i hate the most! i always love the hygenists and the dentist (sweet people) but i HATE going to the dentist and having anyone poke and prod around in my mouth...ugh!

then next weekend is the dixie deer classic...parts of it are always lots of fun...people watching, chatting, selling, etc...but LOTS of work and then catching up on the work that piled up for me at the store while we were working at the fairgrounds...sigh...i really dread it every year...too much of a change in routine...i'll be ready for the one i don't have to go to...at the ripe old age of 23, i'm a veteran of the dixie deer classic...i don't want to complain, but i just don't like it :(

so i'm just hanging out with nershi tonite...and we're waiting for lee to get home to watch biggest loser...and poor nershi had an upset tummy this morning (mommy did too after she had to clean it up...ugh) so he's hanging close by and has been very clingy and snuggly (just like his daddy when he's sick...haha) and i'm keeping a close eye on him...poor little guy...i think he ran too soon after he ate dinner last night...and just had a rough morning. in fact, as i type this, he's my "arm rest" and he's fast asleep...my poor baby!

that's all i've got for now...i'm having to "forget" that biggest loser is on the other channel...i promised lee that i'd wait and we could watch it together...so, american idol it is :)
