my poor honey is working late just about every night this week...so tonite, i decided to rearrange the kitchen cabinets and the pantry...ya know, now that we've gotten familiar with each other over the last year!
it also gave me a chance to use/ditch things in the pantry we don't use...(i must have bought it to try on MVP special or something...)
and a kitchen is one of those places where organization is so important (is there somewhere that's not like this?? hehe)...and everything was where i randomly decided to put it when we moved it...but now that i'm familiar with the "flow" if you will...we needed to change it up a bit!
oddly enough, i've created more counter space...more organized cabinets with MORE stuff in them! woo hoo!
and everything is so neat and organized, i can hardly wait to cook dinner tomorrow night--so i laid everything out (non-refrigerated items, of course) just waiting for me to get home tomorrow! ...just like laying out my clothes before school the next day! haha
...in case you were wondering, its gonna be pork tenderloin in the crock pot with scalloped potatoes and some other veggies (i haven't TOTALLY decided yet...corn or peas or something!)
i'm feeling pretty good about myself--we haven't eaten out all week! (i know that doesn't sound that unusual, but now it includes lunch, too...) and i still have lots of groceries for more meals! and i think doing this makes eating out a lot more special! and it makes staying home more special, too! :) win, win! i like it!
...and i must say, my husband looks so hot when he walks through the door and has his empty lunch box, hugs me and says "my lunch was so good today--make me another one!"
well, i just received a special request for cinnamon rolls...gotta run!

You crack me up! Do you remember when you used to sleep on top of your already made bed so you wouldn't have to make it up before you went off to school? For some reason that thought came to mind when you said you had all your items laid out on the counter waiting for you when you get home. You are a clown to my heart.
