GRANDMA PRIDGEN IS HOME!!
after lee got home from work last night, he gave me the WONDERFUL NEWS!!
here's the story in a nutshell, just to catch you up!
in early/mid november she went in for a check-up...found some "minor" problems, she stayed at Nash Gen. a day or two, they transferred her to WakeMed, and she had quintuple (5) bypass surgery at 84 years old! she's been in the hospital since after Christmas and in rehab since shortly after that...there have been ups and downs but she's doing great!!
and now she's back home!!! we are looking forward to celebrating Thanksgiving and Christmas with them VERY SOON!!
we love you, grandma and can't wait to see you!!
