i knew something like this was going to happen eventually with my human-disposal husband...but i've been delaying this most recent trip to the grocery store, and using things in the pantry and cooking more, etc...i just knew it was going to be a doozie...
...so tonite i went since lee's back from his umphrey's adventure and in anticipation of the holidays (extra cooking, baking, etc)...
made my list...stuck to it...got a few surprises for lee (mainly pumpkin pie--he loves it, i can do without it), lots of mvp specials, coupons, etc. and the cart was loaded down, in fact so loaded down, they didn't get the groceries in bags back in one cart...and there you have it...a first...
TWO CARTS! however, i will say in the $250 dollars i spent (gasp!!), i saved $40...WHOO HOO!
....oh, and maybe...just MAYBE some of the reason this happened is because today daddy got me a FREEZER FOR OUR GARAGE for my birthday!! i was so excited! its something i've been wanting for a few months now...i've really enjoyed going to costco and getting meats, etc. and i'm learning more about making casseroles, lasagnas, etc. and freezing them!
i've been checking out craigslist, scratch & dent at lowes, checking them out online, comparing different brands, etc...but today he took me to pick it out and were going on "black friday" to get it and have it delivered to the house! i'm very excited! :) thanks, daddy!
