transitions

lately i seem to find myself "transitioning" a lot of things these days... in addition to the new furniture (which has sparked a bit of cleaning and reorganizing--i know, it doesn't take much to get me goin'), i seem to be putting some of eden's things in storage... things she's outgrown or doesn't enjoy anymore...

...is she already old enough to OUTGROW something?! oh my goodness.. [sigh]

today, i brought home a bouncy seat from work that she used to sleep in. after i saw her napping in it today, i realized she nearly flattened it when she laid in it... same with her bouncy seat at home...

...i've pulled off the carseat adapter for her bob stroller... this seemed to be "a big deal"...since her stroller will be this way until she TOTALLY outgrows the stroller...

i've had to adjust her jumperoo up for height... and her exersaucer will probably be bumped up in the next week or so...

our floor is now covered with books and rattles and things that are apparently delicious to chew on... and not so many blankets or swaddling things...

i'm going to have to take the headroll thingy out of her carseat... seems like a few weeks ago we were coming home from the hospital and i remember thinking "will she ever fill this thing up?!"... yes, she's nearly filled it up already! i've started looking at convertible car seats (ones that we leave rear facing for now, but eventually turn them around--you know, the ones that look more like lazy boy recliners than baby carriers...yeah, the kind that STAY in the car...)

the boppy is now solely used to help her sit up...

i just can't believe it... she's growing so. fast. i love it, but i'm also trying to savor every single second as her "newborn" things are becoming things of the past... things that i read about in her baby book.
