...well, that's not true--i like this time of year--its what it leads up to that i don't like :)
anyhoo!! instead of complaining about the pollen, the bugs, the hot weather, the humidity, the outrageous power bill (because i insist on keeping the house cold, no matter the cost), the....eh, you get the idea
i will list all of the things that i like about this time of year....
the sun-sweetened fruits and veggies... i'm glad this one's at the top of the list! pineapple, strawberries, watermelon, oranges, squash, zucchini, peppers, tomatoes...ahhh yes!
grilling out.
longer days.
riding with the windows down.
fireworks... how come no one launches off those bad boys in the winter? c'mon!!
going out on the boat.
not having to peel off the many layers after going in and out a few times a day. (i do like WEARING the many layers, though :) ha)
sitting on my porch swing.
....yep, i think that's it!! i'll add more if i think of any more...now, i confess that i really made this list should i ever need to refer back to it one day when my clothes are sticking to me and i glisten at the thought of stepping outside in 100 degree weather at 100% humidity...
