lately, one of the BEST things about my monday is reading mckmama's blog and her "not me monday" posts... its a great opportunity to admit some imperfections & share things you'd rather forget... and after months of reading hers, i decided to try it for myself... or not ;)
well, as for what i haven't done this week... i would never not clean my house for 2 weeks... and since i never do that, when i do clean my house, i would never ever sweep my hardwood floor onto the carpet just so i don't have to mess with that pesky dust pan (or the dust buster that needs a filter replacement)... nope, not me! :)
and this one i'm not copying from mckmama, but its legit... i would never get something stuck to the bottom of my foot while walking across the hard floor in my bare feet and take a "detour" to the carpet just to wipe it off... never... not me OR mckmama...
and staying along the "clean house" lines, i would NEVER get sooo creative and cram MORE stuff in the trash than it would hold... basically booby-trapping it for lee to take out, since we never play by the rule "the one who puts the last piece of trash in has to take it out"
and i would never pretend that i'm still sleeping when nershi is whining and needs to go out, just so my hard-working-who's-fast-asleep husband would have to get up and let him out...
and one last thing that i would never EVER do... while cooking dinner after being home all day sick, being a domestic goddess with her wings clipped (or ears infected...something like that)... i started coughing while making scrambled eggs that were alllllllmost done..so close to done, in fact that i was unable to leave the stove... but i started coughing so much that i didn't wet my pants... no, not me.... not sick, pregnant me ;)
