while the cat's away, the mice will play

...now i don't know who was the cat this weekend and who was the mouse/mice... but lee and i both had fun weekends...

lee and his dad went camping this weekend and, as expected, had loads of fun! somehow they seemed to evade the rain at least while they were camping.

...well, my plan for the weekend was to do NOTHING... to catch up on the sleep that i can't seem to get enough of and maybe... just maybe catch up on the housework i've neglected because i was so tired... my plan was to go at a nice leisurely pace... little by little saturday and sunday with cat-naps in between... so, what did i REALLY do?

friday night, i went out with shellie & jennifer for a girls night at outback... and it was my inaugural role as DD for my term that ends in april :) its always lots of fun with these girls... then saturday after work, i came home took a 2hr power nap... then went out with shellie & her sisters to bonefish (YUMMMM!) then we met up with jennifer at a late movie... we went to see the late showing of julie & julia... cute movie...

so, i ended up getting in about 12:30 and spent most of today sleeping... literally. did i get anything done this weekend that i was supposed to? no. was it worth it? yes. i did however turn on the dishwasher that was already full of dirty dishes... does that count?
