monday i don't remember too much about... i cooked dinner with that i thought was an empty pantry... but i scraped up a pretty good meal...
tuesday i took off 1/2 day to spend with my husband (who had ALL day off of work!)... we enjoyed chic-fil-a for lunch... got to spend some time watching movies & hanging out... i honestly canNOT remember the last day that BOTH of us had off... then i went to pick up kiko (a local japanese takeout place) for dinner & grabbed a dozen krispy kreme donuts for dessert... don't laugh--it was my "k" themed dinner :)
wednesday i rode with mom to see granny tarboro & we went to the church where their 50th anniversary party will be held in october. mom wanted to "see what she was workin' with!" and hammer out some details about that special day coming up soon! then we headed back to her house for some yummy chicken casserole & potato salad... and of course the highlight of my day was spending some time with that side of the family... when we left there, mom came back to our house to rehearse with lee the song they'll be singing at the anniversary party... wow. that's all i have to say... the two are planning on "going on tour" after their inaugural perfomance at the party... the first time they'd ever sang/played together and you'd have thought they'd been doing it for years!
thursday i went with dad to a reverse raffle for the raleigh ducks unlimited... they were raffling off TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS!! ahhh!! i had fun and a good meal... but it sure would've been nice to win that 10 grand... oh well...
friday... is that today?! wow... i made it! busy week! after a quick dinner, i'm hanging around the house tonite... r.e.l.a.x.i.n.g... its perfect... its raining... i've got my favorite blue blanket... nershi laying right here next to me and i'm about to start the pregnancy journal that mom gave me on wednesday... its sooo cute! its got a place to write not only what i've been feeling, but it also shows what the baby has done/grown/learned how to do today... and what i should be doing, of course (eat healthy!, don't forget your vitamins, and towards the end of the journal--PACK YOUR BAG!!)
i'm really trying my best to keep up with this journal (& calendar)...i think it'd be really cool to look back and read one day & also to compare with baby number 2 or 3...
