girls weekend getaway!

this weekend was the much anticipated bachlorette party for one of my best buds, shellie! it was SOOOOOO NICE just to "get away" this weekend... oddly enough, we spent all weekend in raleigh! but i heard all the girls mention a time or two "man, it doesn't feel like we're in raleigh!" ...that was the idea!

we started it off right at G105's friday morning free for all!! they host a live studio audience on friday mornings and tell funny stories about their guests... what a blast! hung out at the mall after that, hung out at the hotel and decorated... then off to lonestar for dinner!

saturday, we got to sleep in (WOOO HOOO!) then shopped some more... lunch at mcallister's deli (YUM!) then watched "ghosts of girlfriends past" with matthew mconaughey... back to the hotel for some refreshing... then bonefish for dinner then RUM RUNNERS! woo hoo!! :)

now, i'm home enjoying some time with my husband (who had OFF all weekend while i was gone!). he held down the fort and spent lots of time with nershi while i was off with the girls... its always so funny to me how a weekend away with the girls has a way of renewing your relationship... refreshing!! i guess being away reminds you of how much you LOVE being WITH them! maybe it was the weekend with the girls...or maybe it was THE TWO WHOLE DAYS i took OFF OF WORK!!?? wow...very refreshed! and relaxed...and when i got home i had the sweetest card from my hubby!! he's so full of encouragement and making me feel like a queen!

thank you, lee for letting me go off and have a girls weekend...even though you could've been selfish and wanted me to stay at home with you on YOUR weekend off! i love you.
