a quiet house

lee decided fairly last minute to go to merlefest for the day with tyler--which means the house is already unusually quiet... no streaming live concerts on the internet, no downloading music, no "sweet jams" ...and me?...and i maybe slept an hour last night...broken...too much wheezing...coughing...wiggling...trying to breath...finding a comfortable spot... honestly, if it wasn't a quiet house, you could've fooled me... i can't hear anything anyways! :(

so after an exhausting day at work, i had dinner with dad at one of our favorite spots...pf changs! then i came home to re-distribute the straw in my back yard... in the dark... by myself... well, i take that back... nershi was watching me on the deck and i had about a bagillion gnats and mosquitoes out there with me... i'm quickly remembering why i'm not a summer girl...

(still unsure of why i did those last 2 things tonite...i was spent without doing them!...but i'm glad i did it either way!)

now i'm officially out of energy...my "fuel light" was already lit this morning...but i'm fresh out!

fortunately, nershi is in a bit of a snuggly mood...and we're gonna hit the hay early...and might watch some tv... however long that lasts...

and tomorrow when i get off of work, and its 90 degrees outside, i will think of all the sweaty drunk people at the triangle beach music festival and then review my pictures from the beautiful snow we had this past year :)
