euphoria!

i have the day off today! :) yippee!

yesterday, i had a wonderfully productive day--after my surge of cleaning and organizing in the past few weeks, apparently i had created alot of dust and have been busy enough with other things i've skipped a week of vacuuming...

a day full of dusting and vacuuming...and toilets! haha...so after a relaxing day of cleaning at my own pace, i hopped in the shower, then lee and i went to rocky mount to spend a few minutes with grandma pridgen now that she's home...it was so great to visit with her at HOME! and not in the hospital! then we had dinner and watched the super bowl with lee's parents for his mom's birthday! chinese take-out...yum! we had so much fun over there--we went through lots of pictures from the holidays that had just been developed...and came home with quite a few of them...now, i get to go through them all again and find some frames for most of them

so today, i wake up in a spotless house and have already prepared dinner for tonite and some things for lee to take for lunch this week...

tonite for dinner we're having baked spaghetti (well, with macaroni noodles...its easier to eat) and i used the leftover noodles that didn't fit in the dish to make a yummy pasta salad with all of lee's favorites that i had in the fridge--what a great idea, if must say so myself!

i used a sun dried tomato dressing and popped in some black olives, cut up provolone cheese, and some cut up turkey! i forgot how easy and flexible pasta salad can be--full of your favorites or just whatever you have in the fridge!

i'm sure i'll find something else to clean today...and i do have a little bit of laundry to catch up on (does that everrrrrr end?)

and later, lee and i are going to ride our bikes together! :) i also had a few other projects in mind, but since lee had the day off today, too (thank you, Jesus), i've postponed them for another day off!

i'm hoping in the next month or so, to use the shelves that were ripped out of our closets when we had them redone and hang them in the garage...we'll see...
