...but not just any fixture...one with a base the same size (or larger) as the one i broke...didn't want to repaint since it wasn't painted under the cover :)
here's the new fixture...assembled & installed by me...it was a little harder than i expected (i thought about having a bathroom that doubled as a photographers dark room)i must say, after all the trouble, sweat, tears, physical and mental exhastion...it was worth it! i love the color above all...i've enjoyed leaving the light on in there (don't worry--energy saving bulbs!) and seeing the pale glow that emits down the hall...the kind of glow that matches the rest of the house...not a radiation glow or one that turns the closet door across the hall PINK! haha...
i think from now on, i'll stick with the little projects...like cleaning...and organizing :) i have FULLY satisfied the urge to undertake re-painting and/or re-wiring ANYTHING!
tomorrow marks one week since i started this "project" if you will...and after work tomorrow i will RELAX! its been an awfully long week for lee and i both...i'm off to bed early...zzzz
