the whole time we were down there the weather was PERFECT! not really sunny, not cold...but comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt! woo hoo!

we didn't take any pictures from the first day...we were pretending we were on amazing race...from the time we landed, got the rental car, drove to universal, and rode our first roller coaster...it was about 1hr. and 15mins...

monday we spent the day with stephanie, kevin, mary kathryn, & lucy at the magic kingdom--sorry for the first few pictures being "blue"--my camera was on a weird setting for a certain kind of lighting (??)
lee took a pic of the girls while they were waiting for us at the gate...
can you tell uncle lee is excited?
finally in front of the famous castle!
...and i figured out how to fix my camera!
the boys couldn't handle the teacups...girls only!!
mk likes to spin fast....that's my girl!! :)

tuesday, we spent all day at universal studios and ended the day with us utterly exhausted and a little bit of rain...so, i got to take a nap on a weekday! YAY!
hubby with the back to the future car...since they don't have that ride anymore

ok...before you see the next picture, it needs a bit of an explanation...
lee and i rode the MUMMY RIDE!! (based on the movie, of course)

this ride was SOOO FUN...i was in fear of my life...it seems like a movie ride until it goes PITCH BLACK and you can't see your hand infront of your face....and it turns into a ROLLERCOASTER!!!

and at the end of the ride they had a sign "view your ride photos"...normally not a big deal, but neither one of us remembered them even taking the picture--we usually catch the flash!

anyway...so we view the picture and can't stop laughing...we just had to buy it!! so this is a picture of the picture that we have framed in our home :)
we had such a great time...and are looking forward to going back to finish disney...there was soooo much to do at the other parks that we didn't get to do...vacation 2010 here we come!
