lee and i have had a hectic week...hmm...lets see....
work schedules
birthday celebrations (by the way--happy birthday to granny pat, lee's dad, grandaddy tarboro, and hannah's dad)
early voting (lee not hannah--she prefers to vote on election day)
and of course--halloween preparation...
tonite michael (lee's cuz), kimberlee, dylan and haley...oh and bo the chihuahua came over tonite to partake in the pepper pointe halloween celebration...and we had a mini-haunted house of our own...you know the hopkins--always full of surprises!
well, this was our first year in this neighborhood, and i have heard a lot about halloween in this neck of the woods...sure enough, 7 large bags of candy, countless cute costumes, and tons of trick or treaters...we had loads of fun and we're all tired (nershi included!)
unfortunately, with all the excitement, i forgot to take any pictures...sorry...i'm learning!! (right, mom?)
oh, and i would like to mention, i had SUCCESS with my 2nd batch of cabbage! i'm thrilled i can make it like granny's! yum...we almost ate it all!
that's it for now...stay tuned...since halloween is over and winter is oh-so-close, mr. snowman is making is annual debut on the porch (thanks granny tarboro!!)....hmm...is it too early to put up my christmas tree?
KIDDING!!!!!!
